Important Keys To Stand Out And Be Unique

To be honest, there are times we just need everyone's attention on us. Whether we just got new clothes, have a crush and want them to notice us, or maybe you spent hours on your makeup and you need complements, the list is endless.

I'd give a personal illustration at the end of this.

Let's dig in, shall we?

Be Unique:

I mean, that's the whole point. Show yourself for what you are because that is something no one else can, not a single person amongst the billions in the world.

Have a Signature:

Finding your signature may be the difficult, but, all you need to do is relax your body and let your mind do the thinking. It could be your style, approach, scent, etc. Remember Penelop Featherington in Bridgerton? Trust me you could never miss her with her different shades of yellow.

Look Elegant:

You should never undermine your look. Mind you, elegance doesn't have to be extravagant.

Be Observant:

You must know where you are and the people around or whom it is you want to notice you.

Make an Approach:

Lounging in your corner would not get you the spotlight dear, in rare cases, it might. You may approach them directly, stand or move around them, you could even shout. If you shout, they may shoot a disdainful look, but trust me, they saw you.

Be Cool 'n Moderate:

You don't want people to choke on your perfume or see you as one who moves around rapidly. Be calm.

Personal Experiences:

I am a shy person who likes the spotlight. This is a weird cliche but it is true. I am always noticed, WHY?

My personality is unique, my signature is my vocabulary, grammar and somewhat funny foreign accent. In addition, I never miss an opportunity to be included in 'the conversation', but I know my boundaries and sometimes force myself to hold back.

Let me know what you think in the Comments Section. And, share, someone might just need this.

How-to-Guide: How to Achieve your Goals in Nigeria and Abroad

It is possible! Is Nigeria a Place of Achievement? The economy of Nigeria presently creates a big room for concern. From ASUU strike to the ever growing issue of unemployment. People may say Nigeria has literally become a dead end to achievements; I also accepted this until I began to make a lot weekly (When I started). The truth is that Nigeria would scarcely give room for your achievement- you have to create a room for yourself. Picture yourself trying to get groundnut(peanut) out of a bottle. At first all the groundnuts(peanuts) would move towards the bottleneck to come out, few may, but the others get stuck and you have to reshuffle. Nigeria is the large bottle and we (you and me) are the peanuts [don't get offended by the simile]. You probably just want me to say how I achieved my goals, we have gotten to that junction. Determine Your Goal This is were you tell yourself that you want to make it. After coming to the realization that you don't want to be in the same plac...

Do These to get the Best Out of Friendships: How I Choose My Friends

Photo by Wasa Crispbread on Unsplash To a degree I'm skeptical about friendships, heartbreaks are real! Before I call someone my friend , there must have been deliberations by my brain cells and they must have seen the person fit. Yours doesn't have to be the same, however, reading this should reduce the risks you'd have of disappointments in any kind of relationship.  How I Choose my Friends- My Values Remain Unshaken:  The moment my values begin to repel you friendship is out of the question. I wouldn't throw away my values in the name of friendship. Some may call it pride; I'd rather be proud. Quick Character Study: If I notice you are not ready to change, you cannot move at my pace, you do things I can't live with (morally), friendship is unworkable. Ensure they are not Parasites: Parasitism is a very big red flag and I don't stay where any reddish flag casts shadow how much more... Friendship should go both ways, give and take policy. Determine What I...

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi In the November edition of Impact Academy - a branch of the monthly GCK focused on youths and young adults, the convener, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi , spoke about preparation for excellence. He gave a sub-point titled "The Friends' Loyalty on the Ladder Towards Excellence." He emphasized that friendship is two-way traffic and quoted a Bible verse." photo by Duy Pham "A friend loveth at all times..."  -Proverbs 17:17 (KJV) A-Z of Friendship "What kind of friend should you have that will help you and make you go on the right journey?" He rhetorically asked. He gave each letter's positive and negative sides for a better understanding. Who is Your Friend? Is he... A: Agreeable or Aggressive? Agreeable friends try to support you, while aggressive friends want to fight you. B: Brotherly or Brutish? Brotherly friends show you love, while brutish friends are unkind.
